Het Kwade Oog presents cult films

The May programme at the Het Kwade Oog film club features two Belgian ‘classics’: Roland Lethem’s *Le sexe enragé* and Thierry Zeno’s *Vase de noces* are among the very few films from the country to have made it into film history. Not official film history, but the history of experimental and alternative filmmaking. The 1968 short film *Le sexe enragé* carries the bold surrealism of Man Ray and Marcel Marien into the seventh art. *Vase de Noces* is a cinematic parable in the style of Pier Paolo Pasolini, which breaks the taboo surrounding death. The screening will take place on Tuesday 15 May at the Archive and Museum of Flemish Cultural Life, Minderbroederstraat 22, 2000 Antwerp. Information and bookings: tel 03/236.82.59.
